El Geco Verde all for you
Between September and March we open our doors to large groups of family and friends who hire the whole hotel for several nights across weekends or bank holidays, having access to the hotel kitchens and BBQ facilities, cooking for themselves or contracting our professional catering services.
Winter weather here in Andalucia is usually amazingly mild and sunny. However, in the event of cooler temperatures, the whole house is centrally heated (our boiler runs on renewable pine pellets and olive stones)
plus there is a pellet stove at one end of the dining area, and a cool double-aspect fireplace between the dining room and main lounge. We provide enough firewood for a two-night stay. More is available at extra cost.
The hotel can accommodate up to 30 people across a maximum of nine bedrooms.
Communal areas include one large kitchen and dining area, one small kitchen, a huge dining room, two lounges and a grand terrace with great views across open country to the nearby mountains. BBQ facilities are available if required (firewood bundle for the BBQ is extra).
All rooms have private bathrooms and are generously proportioned, with one double bed, plus room for at least one extra single bed, up to a maximum of three extra beds in some rooms.Tell us your preferred sleeping arrangements when booking so we can help you find the most appropriate solution.
Top Tip: Order in your drinks ahead of your arrival. We´ll arrange for them to be delivered to the house and stored in the fridge so they are nice and cold when you get here. We can also arrange for groceries to be bought and delivered in advance. There is a small charge for these services, in line with the quantities required. .
Deposit: All bookings must be secured with a refundable deposit of €200. It is incumbent upon guests to inform us of any breakages or damage caused by your group before you leave
Check-out: The standard check-out time on the last day is 12pm (midday). If you´d like to extend check-out time up to 6pm, this is possible, at extra cost. NB: We can only accommodate a later stay if we do not have new guests coming into the hotel the following day
Whole house rental
- For groups of up to 18 people: €450 per night (max eight rooms)
- For groups of 19-24 people: €450 per night (max eight rooms) + €15pppn for places 19-24.
- For groups of 25-30 people: €550 per night (max nine rooms) + €15pppn for places 26-30 Maximum capacity: 30 people. Minimum rental period: Two nights.
